Welcome to my Tahoe AL Engineering website where I present a variety of information that may be of value to you from my three-decade regulatory background as an environmental and civil engineer at Lake Tahoe and throughout the Eastern Sierra-Nevada mountain ranges of California, my environmental activism in support of the restoration of Lake Tahoe, my court filings and more.
Interested persons are invited to contact me to consult on the above or in support. I am also available for keynote motivational engagements to inform your group or organization concerning careers in engineering and the related fields of water pollution control, solid waste management, regulatory and legal frameworks, and environmental planning.
Others may be interested in my original explorations in Synergetics, a fascinating branch of geometry, mathematics and cosmology pioneered by Richard Buckminster Fuller, and a science of structure that has led me to some remarkable independent discoveries over the years. ENGINEERING
Court documents, comments, complaints, petitions and more concerning Tahoe AL’s engineering activism since 2019, mainly around issues of microplastics, including filings from Miller v. Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and my March 2025 petition for substantial regulatory reforms needed for TRPA at Lake Tahoe.

MICROPLASTICS in Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe is highly-contaminated with these toxins; examine the sources and deficient regulatory policies that have brought this about from Tahoe AL’s perhaps-surprising perspective. See suggestions for remedial actions and to prevent MP contamination in other waters nationally and globally.
PETITION: TRPA Compliance
Tahoe AL petitioned Tahoe Regional Planning Agency to address grievances with regulations the agency adopted that are invalid and unconstitutional, and to encourage litigation to compel TRPA compliance as necessary.
PETITION: Microplastics Contamination
Tahoe AL petitioned the Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board and the State Water Resources Control Board to address microplastic contamination in Lake Tahoe they and other agencies are causing by deficient regulatory actions and inaction concerning deteriorating plastic structures on the shores of Lake Tahoe.
PROJECT: Wetlands Restoration
